SITE ACCESS - DEFINITIONS

How you setup your site and to whom you give access, is completely up to you. The following information details your site options:

  1. Public Site
    • Choose your own URL.
    • Data is accessible to all users on the Internet.
    • Only registered users can access the power user interface, but anyone can register.

  2. Private Site
    • Choose your own URL.
    • Data is accessible only to users who have been assigned
      appropriate permissions.
    • Appropriate permissions can be granted to users only within your company, or can be expanded to include users outside of your company.
    • You as the System Owner maintain complete control of data access.

  3. Registered users
    • Registered users provide all of the information such as name, company, address, phone, and email. This information is stored within a file along with count and order history.
    • These users can save and edit preferences. Preferences include login settings and account information.
    • Only registered users can save counts and orders.

  4. System Requirements for Users
    • A PC with access to the Internet
    • A browser that is compatible with Internet Explorer or Netscape version 4.01 or higher.
