PRICING AND RATE CARD MANAGER

Pricing Options (Pricing Schemes)
The rate card manager allows you to set up predetermined packaged pricing options other than your default "Retail" pricing. When a new user registers for an account, they are automatically set at the default system pricing for the files on your system.

While this may be a suitable level for a great number of clients, there are always instances when you want to give certain clients lower pricing (High Volume clients, resellers, etc.) You can modify your pricing tables by file to allow for different levels of clients such as Retail, Wholesale (List Brokers, Resellers), and Special pricing.

These pricing "schemes" allow the same file to be priced differently for different companies. Pricing is entered per element, and allows for pricing type (/M, Flat, etc), Price per type, minimum pricing for base, minimum pricing for selects and media, whether or not selects and /or media are included in minimums. Pricing can also be customized for one particular company only.

  • Manual Pricing Set up
You can manually set pricing for a particular client, and this pricing over rides the system default pricing level. However, these modifications must be made at the individual client level for each file you have displayed on your system. If you have 100 clients who deserve the same special pricing for orders and four files represented, then manual-pricing adjustments would necessitate as many as 400 unique changes, in essence, one pricing modification per client per file. However, if you use a pricing scheme, then you would only have to make one modification to that pricing scheme for each file, a total of four changes.

Once you make a change to a pricing scheme for a specific file, then all clients assigned to that pricing scheme are affected. Pricing formats are created on a per file basis. If you have four pricing levels with the same four files mentioned above, then you would create up to 16 pricing formats.

  • Volume Pricing Discounts
This feature allows you to set up pricing discounts for multiple volume levels. These price breaks are set at the client level and can be modified for different volume levels per file.
  • Pricing Exceptions / Pricing Overrides
Allows for system owner employees, who can assign billing to clients, to alter the normal client pricing level on a particular order or orders. It would work by having an administrator or supervisory level employee create a "Coupon" within the system. The system would generate a coupon code, which would then be entered into the system when the order was placed. Examples of it's use include giving a client a one time 25% discount, or discounting the re-run price of an order that was placed in error the first time by the client.

Coupons would be usable on a one time or multi use basis, based on what data is entered into the system at the time the coupon is created. Once a coupon has been used the number of times intended, a new coupon must be created for future discounts.

The online invoice would indicate the original pricing for the client, but would then indicate the discount percentage and the coupon code for
    tracking purposes.

  • Billing and Account Editor (change billing information)
Administrative level users have the ability to fully add, edit and delete other users registered within the system. An administrator can alter the billing information of any registered company, as well as alter their available credit or even de-activate the account if deemed appropriate. You can also set up accounts on net terms.
  • Invoice Creator (Daily reporting and Excel/XML formatting)
Your ListKey system can generates daily invoices based on your system's order information and you minimize duplicate work. Your system will produce daily invoices for you in Excel or XML languages that easily interface with most Accounting software packages. You can easily tie it back to your accounting package and not do double entry for invoicing.
  • Royalty Reporting
This report allows you to track usage and report royalties back to appropriate data owners based on the rental of your file.
