SEARCH (COUNT) FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Professional-style "experienced" List User Interface
Users can quickly and easily navigate through geographical and demographic selections in any desired order. They are in full control of the order of their search (count). Simply point and click the buttons at the bottom to go from section to section.
Quick Recalculation
Users can immediately see the count for their data search funnel down from the selected database's total universe to a count with their desired selections.
Now, instead of having to wait to see what the query will look like at the end of choosing all of the demographic and geographic selections, users get an immediate picture of what the count search looks like every step of the way-in mere seconds.
Point and Click Addition and Deletion of Selection Criteria
Easily add or remove selections from your count by pointing and clicking. No need to search through pages of information or even hit the back button.
Split Screen "Search" Count Builder
Your users will always know where they are in the query/count phase. As they add and delete selections, the left side of the screen will automatically keep track of the information they've selected.
Count Retrieval Updating
When a user retrieves a count run prior to an update, the system generates a message prompting the user to rerun count to receive current updated totals. This prompting ensures that your users are not surprised when count and order totals do not match because of updated information.
View Sample Records
Users can see a sample of records based on search criteria.
Count Suppressions
This feature allows users to suppress previously saved counts from newer counts and suppression of previous orders from counts. Suppression can be based on previous counts saved for suppression, previous orders on an individual basis or all previous orders for a specific User ID. All suppression is performed during the count stages so the client knows ahead of time how many records are available as they place the order.
Search Navigation
In the Professional user experience mode (user interface) users can navigate in and out, back and forth across count pages from geography type to additional selections.
Count Modification
User can easily modify a current count even after it has been run. A message is generated when a user is abandoning a current count.
Delivery of Search Total
Counts are available and are delivered in real time and in most cases are completed in 15 seconds or less. Only one type of Geography breakdown per state is allowed (Eg.: Florida counties), but different states can have different breakdowns (Eg.: Florida by counties and New York by zip codes).
Count Description
A 'description' field and a 'Notes' field is included with every count so users can easily identify counts they run.
Count Prompts
When users leave a count they are first prompted with a message and have the option of returning to the page to save their count.
Saved Counts
These counts can be displayed to show the results of the count without rerunning the count. They also can be copied and modified without changing the original. Saved counts can be retrieved when the user is ready to place an order.
List Breakdown Reports (Count Segmentation)
Counts can be further segmented into subtotals by accessing the "generate list breakdown report" function on the count totals page. Breakdown reports are emailed to the user. Depending on the complexity and size of the breakdown report, creation of this report could take from 20 seconds to 15 minutes. List breakdown reports automatically calculate the subtotal of records with:
List breakdown reports are delivered to the user with both notes and descriptions of database and selections attached and can easily be cut-and-pasted in a Microsoft® Excel spreadsheet or a Microsoft® Word document.
Company counts
Users within the same company can see counts run by other company users. System owner site administrators can run counts for their customers under their customers' names so those counts are saved in the specific customer's count history.
Count History
Users are automatically presented with their last 10 counts by file. They also have the option of listing their entire saved count history across all files and both interfaces.
Selecting Geography For A Count/Query
Instant De-duping of Multiple Geography
Multiple definitions of geography can be combined in one count and overlapping geography is removed on grand count totals as well as in the order (Eg.: New York Counties and specific zip codes, Florida Area Codes and SCF's).
Geography Selection Breakdown
Can enter as follows: 160 Zip/CRRT's; 60 zips with breakdown by carrier route; 24 zip ranges with breakdown by carrier route; 80 counties with breakdown by SCF or zip; all 50 states or any combination with auto fill by region and breakdown by SCF or county; 60 area codes with breakdown by SCF.
Importing Geography Selections
You can import data from a text file that is already available. Some file types that can be uploaded include Zip Codes, SCF's and Zip/CRRT's. Upload limits are currently set at 5000 unique entries. The only exception to this is Zip/CRRT's, these are limited to 250 currently. These uploaded lists can be used for either inclusion or omission of the specific entries. If you have a list of zip codes you do not want to be added in your count, you can upload this list so they will be omitted.
Look up tables are available for each geography type presented. You can look up Zips by city, county, and more.
Stop Counts
Users can easily select which carrier route to stop on, not just limited to numeric limiting stop count. Allows users to choose a number of sequential records rather than a typical Nthing selection. Usually begins at record 1 and continues to (N) records entered by client.
