Alvion Europe

Our European operations were organized in late 2001 to capitalize on the exceptional programming and database technology talent available in Eastern Europe. Located in the historic, picturesque, Black Sea coastal city of Sevastopol, Ukraine, Alvion Europe serves three very important functions in our extended organization.

Web based application programming
Alvion Europe supports our group of expert programmers who are the "brains" behind the many products and solutions we develop. They also write the code for custom applications we build for our clients. They enable us to produce the highest quality solution at the lowest possible cost. Our programming group at Alvion Europe is divided into several teams. Each team has its own experienced project manager leading programmers who are experts in numerous specialties. Since everything we do centers around databases and the Internet, we have teams who are experts in web applications, web services, email broadcasting systems, Ecommerce, data processing automation, data conversion and more.

Data processing automation specialists
The second function of our European facility is advanced custom data processing. We have built a unique platform that allows us to securely load data on servers located in the USA. Through modern, remote control technologies, we enable our data experts in Europe to create sophisticated data solutions often while we're sleeping! The data never leaves our USA based servers, but we have the advantage of serving our American customers better because we can build solutions with the equivalent of two shifts of database professionals, one based in the USA and one based in Europe. This arrangement also enables us to be more cost competitive because we get better utilization of our hardware and software investments resulting in lower prices to our customers.

Training
The third, and perhaps most important function of our European operations is to train future developers and project managers for our USA offices. Many of our team members in the USA had their careers begin in Europe.
